These Burnet Elementary 2nd grade students are all smiles due to the fact they accomplished their reading goals and made the Accelerated Reader BIG Field Trip to the Creative Playground in Georgetown and Austin Park and Pizza. Burnet Elementary teacher Jessica Kelly proudly stated “The students had to have 120 AR points with an average of 80%, which is a tremendous achievement for 2nd graders. A total of 32 made the trip, which is a very high number.”
